Back From Holiday

I am back from beautiful Hammamet, we arrived home at 4:15 in the morning after a very long journey even though Tunisia is only about 3 hours away by plane but when you add airport journey times and so on, it takes about 12 hours! Yes I am itching ( English itching, not Jbalai itching ya Lebeeya lol) to check all blogs and upload photos but I have to sort out few things like food shopping etc...
I will update on journey with its ups & downs but in general we were treated extra well by the Tunisian people who were very friendly and helpful, maybe their customs at the airport need to learn this from their own people.

Good to see you and your family had a nice trip to Tunis.

You are absolutely right about Tunisian border custaoms; they are the worst in the world! I speak from experience, although I haven´t been to Tunis since 1994 (for good reasons haha).

Waiting to see what goddies you´ve brought home to your blog-fans!!!

alhamdulah 3ala esalama, glad that you had great time, lool@itching who has "eljbel" roots here ? by the way I had the same experience years ago with my family when we went to Tunisia, even I had ec passport, they kept asking me “where you from?” When I said Libya they said you don’t need a passport to enter the country "an7na '7ot", and leaving Tunisia was like a camel going through the eye of the needle.. el mohem was great holiday and we all enjoyed it, many happy returns AL.

thank you hibo.
of course what you said is true but we can do much better by taking care of our heritage like our old cities and ruins and keeping our country clean for people to enjoy.
regarding the pubs and clubs, that is not for us in Libya as we are a conservative Muslim country and most people as far as I know would not want to change that.
