Libyan Tourism...

I received an email from a Libyan Travel Agency called Temehu asking me politely if I could put a link to their website on my blog, naturally I clicked on their link and.... wow! I was presented with an almost encyclopedia about Libya, not just tourism. almost all museums have their own pages and the pictures are just amazing, there are even videos about Libya, all information needed by anyone visiting Libya is listed, there was even a page about Libyan food but it was lacking in pictures, I hope these will be added soon. I spent at least an hour going through their massive website and was really impressed with what they have done, it is mainly in English but they have a French section too, best of luck to them.

According to this website, a man was caught at Cairo's airport by Egyptian customs, he was trying to smuggle an illegal item to Libya, no it wasn't drugs or alcohol, it was a .... LION CUB!

Yes a lion cub and apparently he told customs that it was a pussy cat! the lion cub was confiscated and returned to Cairo's zoo where it was probably illegally bought in the first place! rumours say that the lion cub was on its way to a VIP grandson in Libya! imagine, Libya could have had its own Lion Man!

Britain's Got Talent continues to find talented people every week, of course what I didn't write about is the vast amount of talentless people as well, some of them are so embarrassing that I wouldn't dream of showing their videos here!

Here is another great talent, Shaun Smith, a 17 year old young man singing "
'Aint No Sunshine", this year the competition is going to be difficult as there are so far many talents taking place, Enjoy:

Here is the link in case video does not work:

Mainly Libya imports wild animals from Africa and the top VIP usually recieves these kind of animal as a present from African presidents, and there is plenty of lions in Tripoli zoo and they breed well so there is no necesscity for the the VIP to bring this lion from egyept to Tripoli while there is plenty of them at the Zoo and he can just ask for one!!!! in this case I have explaination , the lions at this age are very expensive and this man needs money and the thing tha you don't know Anglo that there is a market for those animals I know some of exzookeepers told me that some people in the zoo stolen animals from the zoo itself and sold it to ordinary((but rich ))or as you say to VIP people but second or even third class VIP.
What I want to say Anglo there is a hidden illegal trade for those animals they sell parrots , gazell, fish and rare birds and they want to skip from quarantine which is the most important part in this case.
by the way keeping wild animal in captivity and small areas like the zoo will inhibit its abilility to breed and affects its natural behavior because those animals usually lives in a large communty and wide places.

hello anonymous
I agree that if this lion cub was for Mr.G's grandson then he would have got it in other simpler ways for him, as you said it must for a minor VIP :o)
I agree with your point about zoos.

Libyan Travel Agency called Temehu.

The website needs work, the design and the colors suck and if I was a tourist I would be turned off.

Here is a link,

Best Travel Sites

and inform the owner to check the 13 travel sites in the article and get idea how a travel website should look like.

I would rate the site a one star from five.

Here is a an article which I read just now relating to your previous post.

Wіth havin sο much content do you evеr run into any prοblems of plagοriѕm oг copyright infringemеnt?
My webѕіte has a lot οf complеtely unique cοntent I've either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being stolen? I'd truly apρreсiate it.
