Staying on the subject of weddings, these are pictures from a mass wedding in the USA, the company that organised the wedding told the happy couples that they hid presents inside the huge wedding cake including one cheques to the value of $50,000, the idea was that when the married couple cut the cake, each might find a present which could be that nice fat cheques!
But what happened shows how greedy humans can be, the ladies as soon as they heard about the cheques, the forgot about their husbands and forgot about their beautiful white wedding dresses and attacked the huge cake just to find that cheque:
These ladies found some presents but clearly they are not happy!

or maybe it shows how stupid the organisers are.....they knew that this would happen if they told them what was inside the cake. why didn't they cut the cake and let them discover what's inside while they eat it....all for the sake of the show

What bothers me is not the greed, but the waste of that cake; anything is done in the sake of publicity including this stunt. If they sold the cake and the proceeding + $50,000 are send to the Haiti victims (Haiti!! I hear you saying) that would be money well spent. Greed will never will be good, look what it did to the world financial state, we all still paying for those bankers greed.

I just wanted to thank you on your informative bloggs on libyan history, which isnt really taught/ talked about by libyans, and even though im not old enough to remember the old libyan flag or monarchy, its great to be able to have a knowledge of a tottaly different libya to what i know today.
