For the first time in my life I agree with the burning of a book, the idiotic green book of Gaddafi the murderer, the brave people of the city of Misrata stand as one and send a message to gaddafi, until when this mad dictator is going to claim that these brave people are drunks and drug addicts! he should look closer at home, his son Saadi looked drugged out of his mind when he said he was missing travelling and being in a safari!
I feel its not right to write about how I feel while so many people in Libya are being attacked and killed, while so many people in the city of Tripoli and other cities are being harassed and treated badly by the gangs of Gaddafi, no matter how angry and sad I feel, its nothing compared to what Libya people in Libya feel at the moment, all I can do is offer them my prayers and the prayers & support of many people all over the world to the brave Libyan people.
For once the whole world united, We are all against Gaddafi

Salam Anglo-Libyan,
Agree wholeheartedly - supporting from a distance and yet feeling helpless at the same time. However, prayers and thoughts are never helpless. Blessing to you and your family.
Greetings,
I have a question for the webmaster/admin here at www.anglo-libyan.com.
May I use some of the information from this post above if I provide a link back to this website?

Times goes by and all we keep seeing on the news is the massacre of Libyan civilians by this dictator that considers himself a protector of his people. Meanwhile he keeps killing his own people. How sick could that be? What depresses me the most, is the rest of the world is watching and it seems like everybody is just standing still and not do anything to support the right of freedom. Where are the powers? Where is USA that considers themselves a world power to help? Where is NATO? Where is the rest of the world to help them? It seems like the Libyan people are fighting against the world for freedom. It's sad and depressing that the national powers are not there to help. I wish the Libyan people the best, I admire them already for what they have done. Their government has to pay for what they are doing.
Oh John, this is exactly what I feared when Mr. Obama was elected. Back then, I didn't know of course what would happen in Libya, but I feared that help would be needed somewhere and the USA under Obama would be reluctant to provide it - and the world would be on autopilot and would quickly go crazy. Now, Americans say - let Europeans solve the crisis. We all know how "useful" Europeans are when a conflict escalates to war or genocide. If someone has forgotten, google Srebrenica... However, I still hope that this time Europe will do some things right, because nobody wants to shelter and feed hundreds of thousands of refugees. Bravo to France for recognizing the provisional government!
